Frequently asked questions

Can I bring more than one dog or additional people to my session?

There is no additional charge for photographing multiple dogs or including people in your session.

For sessions with more than one dog, I do ask that you bring additional hands to help with handling and safety so the session runs smoothly.

Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel within the first hour from my home base in Byron Center, MI is included. Travel beyond that is billed at $45 per hour.

When multiple clients are scheduled at the same location on the same day, travel fees are split between clients.

For sessions outside of Michigan, please reach out directly for a custom travel quote.

How long does it take to receive my final photos?

Final galleries are delivered within up to six weeks from your session date.

Delivery timelines may vary slightly during peak seasons, but you will always be notified if additional time is needed.

How long do I have to make my image selections or purchase digital files?

Client galleries are available for six months from the date of delivery. During this time, you may view your images and make your selections at your convenience.

After six months, galleries may be archived.

Is the session fee applied toward digital images or artwork?

The session fee reserves your date and covers planning, photographing, and editing your session.

Digital images and artwork are purchased separately after your gallery is delivered.

Do you offer all-inclusive packages?

To allow clients flexibility, digital images and artwork are selected after your session. This approach allows you to choose only the images you truly love rather than committing to a package in advance.

Can I pre-purchase a digital collection, artwork or gift certificate?

Yes. If you’d prefer to pre-purchase a digital collection or are purchasing a session as a gift, I’m happy to arrange upfront payment for the session fee and a selected digital collection.

Final image selections are still made after your session, and any pre-purchased collection is applied to your gallery once it is delivered. Pre-purchased collections are non-refundable and may be transferred to a gift certificate if plans change.
